State Assembly Celebrates Black History Month

(Sacramento) – During the California State Assembly’s special ceremony to mark Black History Month, Assemblymember Reginald Byron Jones-Sawyer, Sr. (D-South Los Angeles) pointed out that 2018 is the 100th anniversary of the first African-American being elected to the California State Legislature, Frederick Madison Roberts.
